Restore the option within IE 6.0 to choose "open/save" for attachments I want to downlaod?

Everytime I download atachments in .wmv format, it (IE) does not give me the option to save/open/etc. (Yahoomail and Hotmail). Instead it attempts to open the media within the page itself. How do I restore the ability to override this and save or open the file myself? BTW I have already changed the settings within XP to "confirm" based on file type. Driving me nuts. Thank You
